IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is the cell that is formulated for monitoring the quality parameters in HEI given by UGC. The Composition of IQAC members is as per the recommendations given by National Assessment Accreditation Committee.

Overview

Internal Quality Assurance Cell helps the college to establish quality benchmarks based on the guidelines of UGC and NAAC. It ensures quality in student centric teaching, learning and extension activities. This cell was established in the college on 15th January 2004.

Introduction

As per the requirement of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore our college has an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a quality sustenance measure since 2004.

Objective

  1. The IQAC of Shri Siddhivinayak Mahila Mahavidyalaya aims at maintaining and improving quality education in Arts, Commerce and Science faculties through well-qualified staff and adequate infrastructure to its stakeholders.
  2. We adhere to the norms set by NAAC, UGC and Government of Maharashtra.

Strategies

  1. Ensuring timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic, administrative and financial tasks.
  2. Equitable access to and affordability of academic programmes for various sections of society.
  3. Optimization and integration of modern methods of teaching and learning.
  4. The credibility of assessment and evaluation process.
  5. Ensuring the adequacy, maintenance and proper allocation of support structure and services.

Functions

  1. To set and promote quality parameters for the college.
  2. To observer the quality aspects in the College.

Benchmarks

  1. Quality enhancement in academic and administrative areas.
  2. Benchmarks are set and achieved through continuous assessment and improvement.
