About the department

The department of Statistics was established in 2016 and currently offers B.Sc. Principal Statistics. It is well equipped with Computers and LCD projectors with internet facility.The department aims to train the students in the development and applications of Statistical techniques for analyzing data with advanced statistical software packages such as Python, R software, SAS and Minitab.

In the private sector, statistical manpower is required in marketing, insurance, and information technology as Data Science, Data Analyst and Data scientist position.
