1. Science carnival:
Department of Physics has conducted science carnival on 28thFebruary, 2018 along with all the other science departments. We guided the students for the science projects. Total number of participants was 250. Poster and model presentation competitions were held. Objective for conducting the activity was to make the students aware of science research. The Students got inspired by this research activity and shared their knowledge with other students.

2. Class seminar by students:
To inculcate stage daring among students, seminars are held at the department. Students have to give monthly seminars on topics in Physics in front of the class.. For the month of August, it was on 22nd august 2018. Two students of FY, namely Suman Kale and Priyanka Deshmukh gave seminar on the topics “Detection of Gravitational waves by LIGO detector” and “Dynamo theory” respectively in front of the class. The objective of this activity is to encourage stage daring among students as well as to develop research interest in them.
