About the department

BBA Department was started in the Year 2008-09. BBA i.e. Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA) provides a student with conceptual, theoretical and practical knowledge in various aspects of business like finance, economics, operations, marketing, basic accounting etc. The Students in this field get the practical exposure in their training’s.

The Department has two specialization

  • Finance
  • Human Resource Management.

Better Job Opportunities can be the prime reason for doing BBA. There exists many sectors in which the students get placed. This presents lucrative career options in the world of business and corporate management. It gives an edge over other students due to the practical knowledge a student gets which is a good way to have the option of great career Growth. During the course of BBA, students study the concepts of marketing, sales, human resource, finance etc. It not only gives bookish knowledge but also provides practical knowledge through projects and practical’s.

If a student wishes to do MBA after their  BBA degree then there are many advantages as they already have  the knowledge of what will be covered in the MBA course, they can grasp things very easily will have clear idea when choosing specializations.

The 3-year degree programme provides a fundamental education in business and management principles. Programmes typically allow students to specialize in one of multiple concentration areas, including international business, finance, real estate, computer information systems, or accounting. BBA programs can offer practical management training that can prepare students to successfully work within a large or small organization.

Course & Program Outcome

1. Objectives

  • To provide adequate basic understanding about Management Education among the students.
  • To prepare students to exploit opportunities being newly created in the Management Profession.

Programme Outcome

  • The Bachelor of Business Administration programme is a judicious mix of all functional elements of Business studies which provide participants with foundational knowledge on different aspects of the administration of a business concern. It includes at one end the need to realize why an organization exists while the other shows the new frontiers to which it can be developed.
  • The programme intends to train the students to become competent enough for entry level management professionals. Its basic aim to impart basic and operational knowledge on all functional areas of management makes the programme convergently unique.
  • The core objective of the programme is to make young BBA’s a change agent in the society by fostering values which self-proclaim that “Turn to enterprising serves the society and the nation”.

Programme Specific Outcome

  • This programme is designed to develop knowledge on the functional parlour of business administration. The disciplines it covers include management, commerce, banking, economics, industrial psychology, law, mathematics, statistics, accounting, communication, computer application and accounting software.
  • At the under graduate level no other programme provides the student a feel and basic understanding on such a variety of disciplines. These disciplines are not merely touched upon but are dealt taking the serious contributions it can provide to running business enterprises.
  • The programme is designed in such a fashion to provide ample scope for practical exposure to the problems and opportunities of real business. The two project studies one theoretical (Minor) and the other practical (Major) as well as the mandatory requirements of three industrial visit and resultant report presentation will provide a cutting edge to this under graduate programme over the other similar ones.
